Last week we looked at Ergotec’s ET-210 Saturn (a 2D L-Track massage chair), and the final verdict was a hard pass. If you wanna check out that review, click here!
I think it’s justified though, because how can I recommend a 2D chair with less features when you get a 3D option with wayyy more features for the same cost and sometimes even less! So there’s a basis to my critiquing – at least I think so. Drop a comment and tell me if you agree/disagree!
Since we are on the theme of bashing 2D chairs, I thought why not make it 2 weeks in a row! Nah I kid. In all seriousness, we are gonna be reviewing the Titan Pandora today, of course with zero bias and a fresh perspective (as much as I can!).
The Pandora is a 2022 release, and a sleek looking one at that too – if looks could kill, I’d be dead a thousand times over!
Drop a comment and tell me! I’ve always leaned towards functionality, because a chair that looks good but functions poorly is just a chair! Massage comes first, aesthetics and beauty is always second.
And to be honest, I’ve yet to come across a massage chair that’s downright ugly! I’ve seen a few that aren’t the best to look at, but I wouldn’t call them ugly – I think it would be too harsh.
Looking good is secondary – it’s a bonus if you will. How does the Titan Pandora perform, that’s what we wanna know right!?
There’s nothing “revolutionary” in terms of features I can point to, but that’s not always a bad thing. As long as it does the important things right, I’m okay. So does it? Keep reading to find out! Below are 4 features I’d like to hone in on a little more!
For a chair that’s just about $2K (at the time of writing), I think 8 auto modes is decent. It could be better, it for sure could be a lot worse – like last week on the ET-210 which only had 4 auto modes (not counting demo).
You can have 20 auto modes, but if they are all crap, then that’s no good also. I think Titan have done a decent job on the Pandora when it comes to quantity and quality of auto modes. Here’s the 8 you can pick from!
The 6 massage techniques are: kneading, Swedish, shiatsu, tapping, kneading & tapping combo, and rolling.
How important are airbags in a massage chair? This is a question I get asked a lot.
Why do I say this? Simply because airbags can only do so much – rather compression massage can only do so much. An inflated pouch with compressed air is limited in how deep it can reach, and it can only compress and do nothing else.
What’s nice about the Pandora is it has 40 individual air cells. These all work in tandem to deliver a full body compression massage. I think this is one of the main features on the Pandora that sets it apart from other 2D chairs – the sheer number of airbags!
Another positive feature on the Pandora is something known as space saving recline. It’s a technology that majority of massage chairs feature these days.
For the Pandora, the required clearance is 3 inches from backrest to wall. Without space saving recline, this might have been close to a foot! Those who live in tight spaces (small apartments/homes) will definitely appreciate this.
I debated whether to include this or not, because there’s really nothing special about the 2D L-Track on the Pandora.
Concerning the L-Track, Titan haven’t specifically listed how long the L-Track is. If I were to guess, I’d say anywhere from 48-50” which is what you’d come to expect on most L-Track chairs plus or minus an inch or two.
The L-Track does give you that extra flexibility in targeting the lower spine, glutes and some of the hamstrings. However, you do lose out a little when it comes to stretch as an L-Track can only stretch so far out (because of the restricted track).

Splash the cash or look somewhere else? Well, based on current pricing (on Amazon), I think you should consider something else. There are better chairs that may cost a little more (or about the same), but give you far more in terms of features and tech.
As you can see from above, both the Pro Omega & Pro Cascade are far more superior in most aspects when compared to the Pandora. Yes the Pandora does have more airbags, but that’s about it. Both of these chairs have 3D rollers which are far more powerful than their 2D counterparts.
For me it’s pretty clear cut. I don’t see myself investing in a 2D chair when I can get a 3D chair for cheaper or a little more – depending on what I want. It just doesn’t make sense logically!
Final recommendation is to select one of the Pro Omega or Pro Cascade.

Nothing against the Pandora, it’s just that current pricing doesn’t add up. If things change and the chair becomes significantly cheaper, I might be compelled to revisit this review at that time. For now though, my stance is to steer away and pursue something else.
Last but not least, feel free to leave a comment letting me know if you agree/disagree – I love having discussions with you guys so keep em coming! Till next time friends.
