Many of you have been requesting a review of the Titan Elite 3D, so here we are! There’s a lot to talk about as you would imagine, so let’s get started shall we?
Since then it’s garnered mixed reviews, some good and some bad. In terms of features and pricing, I think it fares pretty well to be quite honest. Given that it’s a 3D chair, the pricing is what I’d consider to be quite affordable. I’ve seen comparable 3D chairs that run about 1.5 to 2 times more than this!
This makes me grin from cheek to cheek. 21 auto modes is what all massage chairs should have! A man can dream, right!? On a serious note, auto modes are super important.
So does that mean more auto modes is the solution? Yes, and….no. More auto modes are definitely great because they add to the overall user experience and keep things fresh and exciting. However, it’s not just about numbers if the quality of the auto modes are poor.
I do think Titan do a fairly decent job with the auto modes on their chairs. Yes it’s not mind blowing or phenomenal, but it is pretty good and more than does the job. So what are these 21 auto modes exactly? I won’t go through the comprehensive list here, but you can check them out on Titan’s page.
The most integral component to any massage chair is the rollers, specifically the back rollers. They are responsible for delivering 75-80% of massage, and so it becomes paramount that they do it “right”!
So what are 3D rollers and how do they function? Think 3-dimensions! Specifically, vertical movement along the length of the back, horizontal movement along the width of the back, and protrusion into and out of the back. The image below illustrates this nicely!
Roller track is the next thing to talk about. There’s something called L-Track and then something called SL-Track. I want you to know something: they are the exact same thing!
So whatever you wish to call it, this is basically an extended roller track which allows the rollers to traverse an extended distance from the neck all the way right down to the glutes.
The Titan Elite 3D is equipped with 3D rollers mounted on an L-Track. The approximate length is about 48-50”. All things considered, 3D rollers on an L-Track is pretty good!
My favorite feature on the Titan Elite 3D is that it comes with calf rollers! Foot rollers are great too, don’t get me wrong, but calf rollers are a big deal because of how rare they are.
Titan have done a good job on the Elite 3D by including both calf and foot rollers. These along with the airbags will do a good job at targeting sore calves and feet. It does seem that a lot of emphasis was placed on lower body massage, which is great to see for a change!
But it won’t talk back! Haha on a serious note…the Elite 3D is programmed to be activated by voice (in addition to the traditional remote control).
There are several commands which are used as input to the chair. For example, you can say “full body massage” and the chair will deliver a full body massage! Intensities can also be adjusted through voice commands.
Imagine you’re midway into a massage and you’re feeling like you could use more pressure to break up that fascia in your lower back? Instead of needing to crawl out of “cloud 9” to push a button, all you gotta do is talk and have the chair do the rest for you. I think it’s pretty useful especially during in-flight massage!
There are several other features on the Elite 3D, but I didn’t want to spend too much time talking about these since they are pretty standard. For example space saving with 2 inches clearance required, ability to recline into zero gravity, air compression massage through 30 airbags, and finally lumbar heating.

Moment of truth! Should you seriously consider the Elite 3D or look into something else? There’s a few things to talk about:
Knowing the above, let’s look at how the Elite 3D compares to 2 similar 3D chairs; one is the Titan Pro Omega and the other is the Titan Pro Cascade. I do like both of these chairs because they are reasonably priced and come packing lots of features.
So what’s the takeaway? All 3 chairs are pretty similar in terms of features, with some few differences. The Elite 3D has way more auto modes than the other 2 chairs. The cheapest is the Pro Omega from all 3 (based on the time of writing this post). I do think all 3 chairs are pretty decent in terms of features offered versus how much they cost.

This is where things get a little tricky. Generally, Osaki/Titan are a reputable brand in the massage chair world, so I’d be a little surprised to see shoddy workmanship, especially on these units since they are all newer models/releases. That being said, I do not own any of these chairs so it’s very difficult for me to say that you won’t have any issues.
The bigger question you’ve gotta ask yourself is: how risk averse are you? are you okay taking a risk on a much cheaper, far more reasonable 3D chair such as the Elite 3D, or are you comfortable breaking the bank (3 times over!) on a more expensive 3D chair such as the Osaki OS Pro First Class (which may be more reputable)?
It’s not a question I would take lightly. Do your research before you decide on buying! Doing your research means trying the chair, speaking to Titan to get all your questions answered, and last but not least, reading on more than just one review. See what other people have to say and then make an educated decision!
I know it’s not the most conclusive/straight-forward advice I can give you, but it is the most honest.
That being said, do let me know if you have any specific questions about any of these chairs and I’ll do my best to answer or find you the answer if I don’t know. If you enjoyed reading, feel free to share the post on the social channels. Otherwise, we’ll see you next week!
