Is It “Elite” Like It’s Name Suggests? You’re About To Find Out!
Many of you have been requesting a review of the Titan Elite 3D, so here we are! There’s a lot to talk about as you would imagine, so let’s get started shall we?
As you probably guessed by now, the Elite 3D is a fairly new release. I don’t know the exact date, but I believe early summer 2021 is when this bad boy was out for sale!
Since then it’s garnered mixed reviews, some good and some bad. In terms of features and pricing, I think it fares pretty well to be quite honest. Given that it’s a 3D chair, the pricing is what I’d consider to be quite affordable. I’ve seen comparable 3D chairs that run about 1.5 to 2 times more than this!
More on pricing and comparisons later! For now, let’s look at the key features that make the Elite!
Titan Elite 3D Massage Chair: Features You Need To Know About!
#1 A Whopping 21 Auto Programs To Pick From!
This makes me grin from cheek to cheek. 21 auto modes is what all massage chairs should have! A man can dream, right!? On a serious note, auto modes are super important.
You might be thinking you can probably make do with 5 or 6 auto modes, but trust me that in time these will get repetitive and you’ll lose the fun of jumping into your chair!
So does that mean more auto modes is the solution? Yes, and….no. More auto modes are definitely great because they add to the overall user experience and keep things fresh and exciting. However, it’s not just about numbers if the quality of the auto modes are poor.
In that sense, it’s best to have fewer modes that are well choreographed and synchronized than more modes which don’t really feel great!
I do think Titan do a fairly decent job with the auto modes on their chairs. Yes it’s not mind blowing or phenomenal, but it is pretty good and more than does the job. So what are these 21 auto modes exactly? I won’t go through the comprehensive list here, but you can check them out on Titan’s page.
It’s a good mix of low, medium, and high intense routines, so there’s something for everyone!
#2 3D Rollers Mounted On An L-Track
The most integral component to any massage chair is the rollers, specifically the back rollers. They are responsible for delivering 75-80% of massage, and so it becomes paramount that they do it “right”!
Rollers that are poorly designed will result in a poor massage experience. Conversely, rollers that are well designed will most likely yield a positive experience!
So what are 3D rollers and how do they function? Think 3-dimensions! Specifically, vertical movement along the length of the back, horizontal movement along the width of the back, and protrusion into and out of the back. The image below illustrates this nicely!
Roller track is the next thing to talk about. There’s something called L-Track and then something called SL-Track. I want you to know something: they are the exact same thing!
No difference whatsoever!
So whatever you wish to call it, this is basically an extended roller track which allows the rollers to traverse an extended distance from the neck all the way right down to the glutes.
The Titan Elite 3D is equipped with 3D rollers mounted on an L-Track. The approximate length is about 48-50”. All things considered, 3D rollers on an L-Track is pretty good!
#3 Calf & Foot Roller Massage!—Probably My Favorite Thing About This Chair!
My favorite feature on the Titan Elite 3D is that it comes with calf rollers! Foot rollers are great too, don’t get me wrong, but calf rollers are a big deal because of how rare they are.
You won’t find many massage chairs that come with calf rollers, and it’s often an area forgotten, truth be told!
Titan have done a good job on the Elite 3D by including both calf and foot rollers. These along with the airbags will do a good job at targeting sore calves and feet. It does seem that a lot of emphasis was placed on lower body massage, which is great to see for a change!
#4 You Can Speak to It!
But it won’t talk back! Haha on a serious note…the Elite 3D is programmed to be activated by voice (in addition to the traditional remote control).
There are several commands which are used as input to the chair. For example, you can say “full body massage” and the chair will deliver a full body massage! Intensities can also be adjusted through voice commands.
This is much more useful than just a nice to have feature!
Imagine you’re midway into a massage and you’re feeling like you could use more pressure to break up that fascia in your lower back? Instead of needing to crawl out of “cloud 9” to push a button, all you gotta do is talk and have the chair do the rest for you. I think it’s pretty useful especially during in-flight massage!
There are several other features on the Elite 3D, but I didn’t want to spend too much time talking about these since they are pretty standard. For example space saving with 2 inches clearance required, ability to recline into zero gravity, air compression massage through 30 airbags, and finally lumbar heating.

Titan Elite 3D Massage Chair Pros & Cons!
- 21 Auto Modes Are Great!—I touched on this before but it’s always important to look for a massage chair that offers well choreographed auto modes, and a good selection to choose from. The Titan Elite 3D satisfies both of these conditions!
- Calf Rollers Make A Huge Difference!—Next time you get the opportunity, try out a massage chair that doesn’t have calf rollers, and then try one out that does. The difference will be obvious for you to see!
- Price Makes Sense (At Least So Far!)—3D chair with an L-Track, 21 auto modes, and calf rollers? Gotta say it’s not too shabby at all for what it costs. Good bang for your buck if you ask me.
- Parts & Workmanship—Unfortunately there’s only so much I can talk about when I review these massage chairs. Because I don’t own the chairs I review, I can’t see how everything withstands the test of time. In that sense, parts and workmanship is often an area that’s lacking in my reviews. That being said, this con is based purely on what I’ve heard from the grapevine, if you will. This is also why I strongly recommend that you do plenty of research before pulling the trigger on a chair!

Titan Elite 3D Massage Chair: Is It Worth Pursuing?
Moment of truth! Should you seriously consider the Elite 3D or look into something else? There’s a few things to talk about:
Knowing the above, let’s look at how the Elite 3D compares to 2 similar 3D chairs; one is the Titan Pro Omega and the other is the Titan Pro Cascade. I do like both of these chairs because they are reasonably priced and come packing lots of features.
- Titan Pro Omega 3D

Price - 5’0 – 6’3 ft & 270 lbs.

So what’s the takeaway? All 3 chairs are pretty similar in terms of features, with some few differences. The Elite 3D has way more auto modes than the other 2 chairs. The cheapest is the Pro Omega from all 3 (based on the time of writing this post). I do think all 3 chairs are pretty decent in terms of features offered versus how much they cost.

But what about longevity, parts, and workmanship?
This is where things get a little tricky. Generally, Osaki/Titan are a reputable brand in the massage chair world, so I’d be a little surprised to see shoddy workmanship, especially on these units since they are all newer models/releases. That being said, I do not own any of these chairs so it’s very difficult for me to say that you won’t have any issues.
The bigger question you’ve gotta ask yourself is: how risk averse are you? are you okay taking a risk on a much cheaper, far more reasonable 3D chair such as the Elite 3D, or are you comfortable breaking the bank (3 times over!) on a more expensive 3D chair such as the Osaki OS Pro First Class (which may be more reputable)?
It’s not a question I would take lightly. Do your research before you decide on buying! Doing your research means trying the chair, speaking to Titan to get all your questions answered, and last but not least, reading on more than just one review. See what other people have to say and then make an educated decision!
Parting Words
I know it’s not the most conclusive/straight-forward advice I can give you, but it is the most honest.
I’ve said it several times on previous posts that my goal is to help people find the best massage chair for them. If I can succeed at doing this, I’ll be satisfied! Everything else is secondary.
That being said, do let me know if you have any specific questions about any of these chairs and I’ll do my best to answer or find you the answer if I don’t know. If you enjoyed reading, feel free to share the post on the social channels. Otherwise, we’ll see you next week!

Hi Eve,
Your reviews are great and I am your follower. I also completed inner engineering and yogasanas programs and practicing meditation. I love the way you write about massage chairs and meditation based on your true interest and experience.
I would like to hear your opinion on buying a osaki/titan massage chair. I am currently very much confused and overwhelmed with the different models.
I am 5′ 10″ tall. I have lot of spine/disc/nerve issues in lower back and numbness in some areas of legs, calf and feet. I don’t expect it will get cured magically by the massage chair. I am trying to find a massage chair that can help to mainly relax while helping to recover the health gradually.
I am interested in Osaki Monarch and Titan Elite, but worried if they are very old models. I am looking to buy a 3d SL/L track massage chair that has variety of auto modes, many air bags, good massaging capabilities on neck, shoulder, back, glutes, thighs, calf and feet areas – in short, with thorough full body massaging capabilities.
What would be your pick if you were going to buy a zero gravity, 3d SL/L track massage chair midrange(max price in amazon $2000 – $3000) osaki/titan massage chair for you?
Thank you in advance!
regards,
Rathin
Rathin, thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! It brings joy to my heart when I see fellow Isha meditators! Hope your practices are going strong.
Regarding the massage chair, if it were me buying at this point in time, I would opt for a 3D chair instead of anything else. I think they are more reasonable than 2D/4D at this time. That being said, the Elite is a good choice and seems to fit most of your criteria. The Ador Allure is another decent chair, but it’s quite a bit pricier.
One important advice I would like to give you is – don’t rush to buy. Take your time and see if you can try out a chair or two in person (maybe at a Costco? Somewhere else?) and see how it makes you feel. Don’t be in a rush to pull the trigger.
Lastly, if there’s a chair you’re interested in which I haven’t reviewed yet, please let me know and I can spend some time reviewing and let you know what I think. Hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any further questions!
