Another “Bang For Your Buck” 3D Chair!

A few weeks ago I reviewed both Titan’s Pro Cascade as well as the Pro Omega, both of which are fantastic chairs in their own right.

Since I’m on a Titan marathon, I thought I’d cover off the Quantum today!

First impressions…..

    • Very well priced, I’m actually a little surprised to be honest!
    • 15 auto modes gets me very excited!
    • Definitely a chair for the future as it comes with voice control.

As far as 3D chairs go, the Quantum is a well rounded unit with a very attractive price tag. Sure it does not boast some of the other features such as calf rollers, heated back rollers etc., but it does very well at doing the simple things right!

Introducing The Titan 3D Quantum Massage Chair!

Let’s look at some of the key features!

Titan 3D Quantum Massage Chair: 4 Noteworthy Features!

#1 15 Auto Modes To Choose From!

For a chair that costs less than $2K, 15 auto modes is pretty darn impressive if you ask me! For me, this one thing is the standout feature of the Quantum, and it’s also where this chair eclipses others (as we’ll see later on!).

What are the 15 auto modes, you ask?

Titan 3D Quantum Auto Modes

As you can see, there’s a nice mix of all low, mild, and high intense routines to pick from. Depending on how you’re feeling, you can select accordingly.

One thing to be aware of is airbag intensity – if you’ve never used a massage chair before, you may not be used to what airbags feel like. I suggest you start off with a low intensity and then work your way up.

Note: All auto modes can be activated directly from the remote control pretty easily. If you’d like to see a more detailed description of each of the auto modes, check it out here on Titan’s site.

#2 3D SL-Track Rollers W/ Adjustable Intensity!

To think that it costs under $2K and comes with 3D rollers!? Time are great I guess! Either that, or 3D rollers are starting to become the norm for what a basic/entry level massage chair should have. Maybe it’s an evolution of what we know as the massage chair!

Whatever it is, I’m loving it!

Coming to 3D rollers, what are they and how do they function?

3D stands for 3-dimensional. This type of roller system is pretty simple actually. There’s 3 types/dimensions of movement, if you will. Vertical up/down movement along the length of the back, horizontal side to side movement along the width of the back, and inward/outward movement into and out of the body. The images below bring it all together!

Not The Best Picture, But You Get The Point!

What’s also neat about the rollers on the Quantum is you’re able to adjust intensity, area, width, and speed. Check out the image below!

Next let’s talk about SL-Track. First things first, when you hear the term SL-Track or L-Track, you should know that both are the exact same thing. There is no difference whatsoever between an SL/L-Track.

That being said, what is a roller track?

In layman terms, the roller track is simply a contraption which allows the rollers to move from one point to another, that is for example, from neck to glutes.

An SL-Track (or L-Track) is a roller track which allows for an extended coverage. In that sense it’s longer than the traditional roller track (also known as S-Track).

A longer track means the rollers can reach areas of the body which would otherwise not be possible. Check out the image below and it’ll all make sense!

Note: Titan don’t specifically say the exact length/distance of the roller track, other than it’s an SL-Track, but if I had to take a guess, I’d say approximately 48-50 inches is what you can be looking at.

#3 Heat Therapy On The Back & Calves!

Heat therapy is more important than you probably think. Without heat, the muscles are much more stiff, much more rigid, and in general just harder to manipulate.

Heat loosens everything up, making the muscles pliable and therefore easier to massage.

The Quantum does a fairly decent job as far as heat therapy is concerned. It’s got heating pads on both the lower back and calf areas. It would’ve been really cool to see heated rollers on this bad boy, but I can totally see why at this price to be honest.

#4 Voice Activated Control!

From the last couple chairs I’ve reviewed over the weeks, I have seen at least 2 or 3 of them that have voice control. This makes me very excited!

I think voice control is revolutionary, and very much needed on something like a massage chair. The last thing you want to do during a massage is get up and start pushing buttons!

When you’re in a massage and into it, I mean really into it, you’re in the zone and any disruptions can ruin your experience. This is where voice control becomes paramount. Being able to make changes on the fly without lifting a finger? I’m all in!

Note: To activate voice control, simply say “Hi Alice” or “Hey Alice”.

Titan 3D Quantum Massage Chair Pros & Cons

Pros—The Stuff I Like!
Cons—The Stuff I Don’t Like!
    • It’s A Steal!—This was my first impression when I saw how much the Quantum costs. For a 3D chair with foot rollers, 24 airbags, and 15 auto modes, this is an absolute steal in my honest opinion!
    • 15 Auto Modes Gives You A Lot Of “Experience”—The more auto modes, the better. This is true, yes, but it’s also the quality of auto modes. By quality, I mean how well the auto modes have been synchronized and choreographed, and how well it all comes together. Usually Osaki/Titan do a great job, and they haven’t disappointed again!
    • 3” Space Saving Makes It Great For Tight Spaces!—I’m a big fan of this particular technology, mostly because it means I don’t have to be too concerned about reserving additional space when placing my massage chair.
    • Hard To Critique Anything—Yes there are a number of things that could make this chair better – calf rollers, heated back rollers etc. But is it really fair to criticize the Quantum after looking at it’s price tag!? (less than $2K) Of course, price is subject to change, but this review is based on current pricing. One important thing that’s worth noting is that the Quantum is a small chair built to accommodate a max height of 5’10 ft.

Should You Buy The Titan 3D Quantum Massage Chair?

I certainly think so! But I’m not one to simply toss out recommendations without any basis. This is why it’s important to see how the Quantum stacks up against similar 3D chairs in the market.

2 of my favorite 3D chairs at the present time are both Titan chairs (coincidentally!): the Pro Omega and the Cascade. Let’s see how all 3 compare against each other!

What do you reckon?

There are some aspects about the Pro Cascade and Omega which make it superior than the Quantum. For example, calf rollers, better space saving etc. However, the Quantum is cheaper and has significantly more auto modes than both these chairs combined.

It’s a hard pick, but I think I might be leaning in favor of the Quantum!

The caveat is that you should of course verify if the chair will accommodate your height/weight. If this is not the case, then I suggest the Cascade or Omega.

That’s not to say that the Cascade and Omega aren’t great chairs, it’s just the pricing of the Quantum which for me is too hard to pass on. That and the 15 auto modes is what decides it for me.

Titan 3D Quantum Massage Chair: Next Steps If You’re Considering To Buy!

If you’re considering buying the Quantum, one of the next things you should do is consider placement. If the chair will be placed in your home, try to take some time to understand where would be the ideal place.

While doing this, you will want to have a look at the chair’s overall dimensions. See below.

TItan 3D Quantum Dimensions

You should also look at your doorway(s) size and compare it to what’s required for the Quantum.

Last but certainly not least, there are a few different color schemes to choose from. Personally my favorite is the Taupe, but I do worry about cleaning and maintenance for these lighter shades. I might just be nitpicking here, so pick whatever your heart desires!

That’s All From Me!

I bid you the best of luck in your quest to finding a massage chair. Unlike the many reviews I’ve done in 2021, this one was a very easy one, and that’s because the Quantum is a fantastic chair at an amazing price point. It also stands it’s own when compared to other chairs.

If you have any questions for me about the Quantum or any other chair, please don’t shy away from dropping a comment down below. I love hearing from you all! Till next time!
